Don't get the title wrong and assume that I am mentally damage as I'm trying to explain what it is between me and him; and to avoid further confusion, here I'm declaring that it is his music that I've been prattling about.
I'm sure that I can't live without music. Although I don't listen to all types of music, I will still consider myself as a music freak anyway. And it's hard for me to determine what kind of music I like, so by doing the opposite way - figure out songs that are not in my iTunes and iPod - you'll know.
And here I am wanting to tell the world how much love I have for Damien Rice.
It is something in the way he delivers a song.
I am always hypnotized by songs that have an emotion element in it; and it's not gonna be just a song. Whether it is recording or live, it is the feel of emotion that makes the song live.
Damien Rice has it. He has that emotion in every song he sings. His lyrics are just genius; simple yet complex. He is a pure honesty.
And after listening to him covering One by U2, I am just........... happy. I am happy for the fact that he is still singing and I am happy for the fact that he never fails to bring a beam on me. The way the lyrics are changed, the way the song is delivered; it's just beyond perfect.
So it's not about a boyfriend and girlfriend love relationship; it is what I feel everytime I listen to his songs, and maybe only me know.
And dear Mr. Damien Rice, please do make more songs; I beg and plead you.
Damien Rice and a guitar are more than enough.
This is what I called music; emotion.
